this is a writing blog for ELENA GILBERT of the cw television show the vampire diaries. her characterization is strictly seasons 1-3 , however season 4 may appear heavily canon divergent. this blog is private and mutually exclusive . i will only write with mutuals and heavily relies on prior plotting. this goes for any and all starter calls , reblogged memes , plotting calls.
my characterization is mine and mine alone. i've been writing elena for quite some time and her voice is prominent in my head. i ask that you do not compare my writing to anyone else . this interpretation relies heavily on elena's trauma, and therefore triggering content will be explicit on this blog. ( ie. blood , gore , death , ptsd ) please keep that in mind when following.

THERE'S A DEAD GIRL INSIDE ME and i'm the one who killed her. primarily set during season three. elena finds herself at a crossroads in life , torn between life and death . this verse is the default interaction point for any and all unplotted things.

THERE'S NOTHING LOVELY about learning to die so young. set in season two . this verse deals with elena's guilt and the pain she feels for realizing she is the danger.
