what are the ways my muse says ‘I love you’ without actually saying it? through her sacrifice . through her unwillingness to put her life before anyone else’s. elena shows she loves someone through her body language , stance always dominant and protective. love is sacred to elena , it’s something so important that those words are hardly blurted from her lips by accident . when she loves it’s all in , head first diving into the abyss. it’s a simple glance towards the person in question as she tucks her hair behind her ear. it’s the phone calls she makes before bed , wondering if you got home okay. the care packages she brings ( she learned from the best , caroline fobes ) when you’re in need. elena gilbert is selfless and she’s warm and she’s kind . she says i love you through gestures , the small things. through moments when she stares death in the face and begs it to take her if it means the people she loves get to keep on living.

Would my muse ever date/marry/sleep with someone because they were rich? I mean , in all honesty , she finds most of that trivial . Money isn’t something she’s ever had to worry about nor has she ever truly cared about it . I don’t think she’d go out of her way to sleep with someone based on the fact that they’re wealthy . She leaves that sort of thing up to Katherine. Yikes.
